What is Sketchbook Club?
Sketchbook Club is a FREE Club where creatives can meet in a fun and relaxing environment! Everyone is welcome!! The Club is lead by experienced artists who are happy to help in multi-media, and will offer a theme/prompt for each gathering. Bring your sketchbook and any supplies you are working with. Supplies are also on hand for you to use.
Sketch club has a monthly online prompts/themes for your sketchbook.
The Sketchbook
Simply put, a sketchbook is a blank notebook or pad of paper that creators of all types can use to work on their development. There are no rules when it comes to sketchbooks! Each artist is free to figure out what works best for them. The frequency a sketchbook is used could be every day, weekly, occasionally, or whenever inspiration strikes. Any medium or purpose can be used, from drawing to writing to watercolor and more. You could even paste different materials (like the receipt from a great lunch or other mementos. The most important thing to remember is that a sketchbook is a place for creatives to delve into their work without any insecurities or boundaries . So, don’t hold back. Grab a sketchbook and dare to make mistakes and discover new ideas. We believe creativity can be a social exercise so we can’t wait to see how you share your work and join us for events.
