Dress-Up Figure Study – Inspired by John Singer Sargent

Dive into the elegance and beauty of figure drawing inspired by John Singer Sargent. Participants will have the opportunity to dress in costumes and practice drawing expressive portraits and full-body poses, capturing Sargent’s mastery of form and light.

October 24th marks our exciting Dress-Up Figure Study event, where we take inspiration from the works of John Singer Sargent. Dress in costumes and sketch expressive portraits and figures in the style of this master artist. Get ready to capture the elegance and drama of Sargent’s compositions in your own work. As usual, our meet-up includes access to some materials (B.Y.O.S bring your own sketchbook). You'll have the opportunity to engage in hands-on activities, and maybe laugh a little as we discover new costumes. Each guest brings their sketchbook and a snack to share.
